To prevent tunnelling, allow enough time for the top layer of wax to 𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 with each burn. If tunnelling does occur, the outer wax can be scrapped off and added to a wax burner so none of your spell and its enchanting scent is wasted. To maintain the stability of the wick, burn your spell for 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟰 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. 

The best way to blow out your candle is by 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿. Always 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗸 about 1/4 inch before relighting.
